For those of you who have been through the college application process, should I involve my parents in the applying process and have them look over my shoulder and stuff when I’m applying for college or should I do it myself? I have gotten into a few arguments with them about it and they think they should be involved and help me while I apply online for the colleges I have chosen to apply to.

I am about to enroll in Rasmussen College and I was wondering if it’s a good idea or not. I have read that online colleges are becoming bigger and bigger, and that more and more people are going that route instead of going to college. I’m a stay at home mom and this would be a great opportuity for me but I don’t know all the facts to attending an online college….if it’s harde… if a large number of students actually graduate from an oline college or if just depends. Is anyone attending o.c., has done so, or and additional info. that I should know???

I need to take a course that does not really pertain to my degree. A science course because I am behind in credits because I had to drop a course.
I decided to take it over the summer Via online. I was wondering what online colleges are credible, and how much it costs to take a single course.

What colleges that are primarily geared toward online education (ie Strayer, U of Phoenix) are considered to be of the highest quality? Where does Thomas Edison State College-NJ fit in? And, where can I find a ratings list?

Please tell me about your experience and what the difference was between other online colleges.

Also, can you give me advantages of taking online courses. Is admission easier for Master’s programs?

Has anyone found or heard of any scholoship programs that can be used for online colleges? I have been searching for about a week now and have not been able to find anything that can be used for online studies. Any help?? Thanks.
