Has anybody ever got and associates degree online and than transferring to a regular four year college? If so when you applied to the four year college or university did they look down on the fact that you got your associates degree online?

I would like to get a basic associates degree, but for various reasons including difficulties with transportation and schedule, taking courses online is the best option for me. However, what I have learned about online colleges so far is that they are cost-prohibitive.
