I’m looking on enrolling to this program since I am interested in both transcription and billing.

I haven’t heard of Brighton College. If your interested in working from home, I would suggest taking a course approved by AHDI (Association of Healthcare Documentation Integrity). When I was researching courses, I called several HR departments of at-home MT employers and inquired into getting started in the field. Each one of them recommended attending an AHDI approved course.

This is the school I attended - . I was working less than a week after graduating and have been working as an MT ever since. They are also partnered with several employers, self-paced (you can finish in a few months or take as long as you need), and more affordable than most courses.

Hope that helps! Best of Luck!
