Is it possible, or even legal, for a 13 year-old to take an online college course, if they have no further education except for middle school?

I’ve rather go to school online, since it’s so much easier than actually going into buildings and seeing teachers… would online college be the same way as attending a real college? with credits and homework wise? you could get financial aid for this too right?

I want to further my education online, but don’t know which ones future employers are going to recognize as a true college. There are so many that are nationally accreditted, but does that mean that employers have to recognize that colleges diplomas?

I plan on taking some online courses while im on active duty to earn my degrees in business/HR while i am on active duty for the U.S. NAVY. I just want to know which is the best/popular online college program. im sort of leaning towards The University of Phoenix, but then i just found out about Excelsior college which looks also good. Are there any others that are better for the working sailor?
